Curriculum vitae

After my birth in 1986 in Homburg/Saar, I spent most of my childhood in the Palatinate region. I started my premed year in 2005 at McDaniel College in Budapest. I then successfully completed the first part of the medical examination at the University of Pécs in Hungary before I transferred to the University of Freiburg im Breisgau. I completed my medical studies there in 2012. As part of my study, I had several stays abroad in Bangkok, Cape Town and Zurich.

During my studies at Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg, I had already successfully completed several internships in orthopedics/trauma surgery and earned my doctorate under Prof. Dr. med. Südkamp in the area of shoulder replacement.

After my studies, I started my specialist training in the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery at the Florence-Nightingale Hospital of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie [Kaiserswerther social welfare organization] in Düsseldorf under Chief Physician Dr. med. Daniel Frank. During my training there, I learned about the entire spectrum of orthopedics and trauma surgery with a specialization in foot and ankle joint surgery.

As a specialist, I switched to a large regional joint practice in the Ruhr district and Niederrhein, where I was able to gain experience in the field of conservative orthopedics.

At the RKM 740 Interdisciplinary Specialist Clinic, I perform both outpatient and inpatient surgical procedures. The treatment concept is always customized for the individual patient, also taking into account all conservative treatment options.

In-depth preoperative diagnostics with the most modern device-based options, such as gait analysis and muscle function testing, also play a very important role.

In my leisure time, I like to ski, dive, play golf and keep fit everyday with exercise equipment and EMS training.
