Curriculum vitae

I was born in 1986 in Homburg, Saarland, and spent my childhood and adolescence in the Palatinate region of Germany. I completed my pre-medical studies in 2005 at McDaniel College in Budapest. I subsequently passed the first part of the German medical licensing examination at the University of Pécs in Hungary and continued my medical studies at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg, where I graduated in 2012. During this time, I gained valuable international experience through clinical placements in Bangkok, Cape Town, and Zurich.

From an early stage in my studies, my professional interest focused on orthopaedics and trauma surgery. At the University of Freiburg, I completed several clinical internships in this field and earned my doctoral degree under Professor Dr. med. Südkamp, with a research focus on shoulder arthroplasty.

I began my specialist training in orthopaedics and trauma surgery at the Florence Nightingale Hospital of the Kaiserswerther Diakonie in Düsseldorf under the supervision of Chief Physician Dr. med. Daniel Frank. There, I acquired comprehensive expertise across the full spectrum of orthopaedics and trauma surgery, with a particular emphasis on foot and ankle surgery.

Following completion of my specialist training, I worked in a large multi-site group practice in the Ruhr area and the Lower Rhine region, where I further expanded my expertise, particularly in the field of conservative orthopaedics.

At the RKM 740 Interdisciplinary Specialist Clinic, I perform both outpatient and inpatient procedures. My treatment philosophy is based on an individual and holistic approach, always taking into account all conservative and surgical treatment options. Comprehensive preoperative diagnostics using state-of-the-art technologies, including gait analysis and muscle function testing, play a central role in this process.

In my daily routine, I maintain an active lifestyle through road cycling and jogging, while I enjoy skiing and diving during my vacations.
