Morton’s neuroma

Pain between the toes

Morton’s neuroma most often occurs between the 3rd and 4th goes, less often between the 2nd and 3rd toe. An irritation of the nerve with pain and foreign body sensation occurs. Narrow shoes often worsen the complaints. The toes often become numb.

Conservative therapy:

  • Orthotic inserts
  • Injection treatment
  • Neural therapy

Surgical therapy:

If no improvement is seen with conservative therapy, surgical therapy is required in exceptional cases. Depending on the stage, the constricted nerve will be released or even partly removed.
